Is there just?

Is there just one animal totem per person per lifetime or are there many for each of us?

One totem I believe but many animal guides that we can draw on. Four and Nine. Each creature has four lessons to teach us and each person has nine animal guides

We had rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, canarys, budgies, finches & a dog as pets when I was a child. At the moment though I just have a dog.

I was wondering if the two animals I have had in my preminitions could be my animal totems. I have an eagle and a bear. What teachings would they bring??

Eagles are often seen as spirit messengers, watching over everyone and carrying messages to those on high, reporting back if you like. Now Bear makes sense for you now, hibernation and the dreamworlds, more rest and sleep so that you can emerge in the spring fully rested and recharged after avoiding the long cold and hard winter

Rear sounds good to me hahah, I could do with hibernating for a while.No but honestly I find this very interesting, as I did a reading the other day and saw a beautiful wolf stood next to the lady I was reading for. I usually have pet like dogs, cats etc. I often get Unicorns for myself, but they have been with me ever since I can remember.
